We are having our debut professional networking and education event on 17 March 2020.
The purpose of these events, which are planned as quarterly events, is to provide a networking environment for Digital Marketing Professionals across Western Australia that is about professional growth.
Junior members of the industry are more than welcome.
At the same time, we actively invite business owners, HR and other key persons for a fun no pressure event to educate an inform choices of Digital Marketers in Western Australia.

Why The Need For These Events?
Digital Marketing is an unregulated industry as a whole, save for privacy and normal legal compliance, but there is a lot of self regulation that non-marketers may just be completely unaware.
Certifications and skill verification remains a challenge for any person outside of the Digital Marketing sphere to understand and comprehend. Just knowing whether a marketer can deliver is sometimes a very difficult process.
As there will always be more than one marketer present in these events, it is most definitely not about selling to prospective clients, but providing a fun, relaxed and informative environment to learn about Digital Marketing, especially in a data driven manner for all stakeholders.

What we’ll do
Welcome to our debut event! This is a FREE Event with food and drink (no alcohol)
It begins at 6PM at WeWork, L32, 152 St Georges Terrace, Perth 6000
This event has a maximum capacity of 30 people.
Data Driven Marketing Perth aims to be a networking event for digital marketing professionals with open invitation to newcomers to the industry, HR, and Business Owners.
All are welcome.
This event is sponsored my Marketlytics (https://marketlytics.com.au)
We will have a special guest speaker, Eddie Skerritt from TDMC – The Digital Marketing Company (https://thedigitalmarketingcompany.com.au/) which specialises in building and scaling Facebook Advertising Agencies.
The first topic will be about the importance of Google Certification and Skills regardless of the platform you specialise in. In the case of Facebook and Google, this combination can be like an unholy alliance that works well.
We actively invite and hope that junior members of our industry will be present to gain deeper understanding of technicalities in our industry and best practices.
Our Guest Speaker
We will try and invite guest speakers on a regular basis. For this debut event we have a very special guest, Edward (Eddie) Skerritt.
Eddie started out as a lead generation agency specialising in Facebook Ads for martial arts. He has developed systems for reliable acquisition of martial arts student leads.
He is now an Agency Coach, where he builds and scales Facebook Ads agencies for Agency Owners.
You can see his LinkedIn profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edward-skerritt-29857857/
Conclusion
Most Perth Digital Marketing Events are about making money for the organiser. There is no such thing here. Although talking about services will always be a part of things and you can cross refer or use services from service providers, there are no obligations and no compulsions.
If any partnerships or engagements occur, it will mostly be a result of organic behaviour rather than a push.
We welcome you to our event!
